How to make an air rose from a fabric organza
Organza is very light, you can even say airy fabric. It is great for making brittle-looking, feminine and very realistic colors. Today's project will tell you how to make a decorative rose from organza. An aerial rose made of organza can be an excellent decoration for hair, clothing or handbag. It is done simply and quickly!
You will need:
- Organza (green for the leaves + the color of the future rose);
- Green satin ribbons;
- Candle or lighter;
- Corrugated paper;
- Adhesive fabric (doublerine);
Cut the organza into squares of the required size, and then, using scissors, form petals.
The edges of the petals burn on the flame. They should melt slightly and wrap up. In order not to burn yourself, use tweezers.
Twist one small petal and sew its base. Add one more petal by wrapping it around the previous one and also sew it. Continue to add the petals, forming a flower.
From wire and corrugated paper make a basis for leaflets. Just wrap the wire with corrugated paper and twist it a bit.
Cut the green organza into rectangles, cut the doublerin (a glutinous fabric) a little smaller. Pull one end of the wire between two pieces of organza and glue cloth.
All the glue, cut the shape of the leaf, and the edges a little blur.
Leaves must be glued together, and for the decor, add a satin ribbon in the form of a bow.
Combine the leaves and the flower with glue, and then glue it to the barrette.
Now, such a decorative rose from a light organza can be attached to any place!
