Traditional pizza recipe
What associations do you have when you hear about Italy ?! Surely, many people will have a picture of a fragrant pizza before your eyes ... And it's not surprising. Italian cooking is known all over the world for its goodies. It is based on the centuries-old traditions of many peoples who once inhabited the very Apennine peninsula - the "boot". It is important that many dishes can be prepared easily at home. This requires only a good mood and fresh products.
Today I have prepared a pizza recipe for you, which is checked, as they say "on yourself". Everyone knows this wonderful dish. It appeared several centuries ago on the ancient land of the Roman Empire, where today is modern Italy.
The name "pizza" is related to two Italian words - "piazza", translated as "square", and "piatto" - so Italians call the plate. Indeed, a flat round pizza in its shape resembles the plate itself. This form to this day has remained unchanged, but the variety of tastes offered in Italian restaurants is amazing. Why do not we experiment with the fillings and find the most suitable taste for ourselves. Here, I think, everyone will have the freedom of choice. But when preparing the dough, we'll stop at one traditional recipe.
You will need (for 2 pizza):
- 3 cup of flour;
- 1 glass of water;
- 1 teaspoon dried yeast;
- 1 teaspoon of sugar;
- a pinch of salt;
- olive oil to lubricate the mold.
We pour out the flour on the table, make a groove in which we pour tremors, salt and sugar, then slowly and very gently pour in the water and gradually knead the dough. Put the resulting dough on a plate pre-lubricated with olive oil, and leave for 40 minutes. After again knead the dough, divide into two parts.
Next, thinly roll out one part of the dough, place it on a greased with olive oil. The dough from above is also greased with olive oil and put stuffing to whatever your heart desires. I usually use sausage, marinated cornichons, olives, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and cheese. Gets fabulously delicious!
Bake at a temperature of 200 degrees 15 minutes.
I want to note that after I and my beloved have learned to cook this pizza, we do not order this dish in cafes and restaurants! Our pizza is incomparable with others!
